John Michael Higgins was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on the 12th of February 1963. John enrolled at Walter Johnson High School before he attended Amherst College.
While studying in college he got a chance to lead the Cappella group The Zumbyes. In 1985 he eventually graduated from college and shifted all his focus to acting.
Michael’s career started in the early 80s when he became the instructor of the theater with Street 70, a Maryland theatre production company. As of today, the company is known as Round House Theatre. During that time he also taught vocal and improvisation.
